These are fairly simple, but sturdy, magnetic mounted lights. I use 5 them on our stairway..If you get up in the middle of the night, they detect your movement and start coming on in a sequential order that I have set up...They have withstood the impacts that the grandsons have repeatedly tested and retested by pulling them off the magnetic mounts and rolling them down the stairs....I used small metal washers and small flat head screws to mount the washers where I needed them..
